The public’s fascination with Steve Jobs hasn’t wavered in the four years since the Apple CEO’s death.
And now, fans of Jobs will have a proper film to honor the late innovator by. According to Collider the film, formally titled Steve Jobs is written by Aaron Sorkin and was originally under development by Sony with close casting calls from everyone to The Great Gatsby’s Leonardo DiCaprio to Batman’s Christian Bale, Sony eventually dropped the film due to budgeting and Universal picked it up.
Now, with filming underway in San Francisco, fans can breathe easy that a film will hit theaters with X-Men: Days of Future Past Michael Fassbender cast at the lead. No word yet on when the film will roll be on the big screen, but at least we know the project is fully underway.
